Job Description
Eagle Aviation is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant with a strong focus on Accounts Payable (AP). This role is crucial in managing the day-to-day AP functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments. The Accounting Assistant will work closely with the Accounting Manager and have opportunities for exposure to the President/Owner, offering valuable insight and growth potential within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payment.
- Manage and reconcile AP accounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly, including credit card and bank account reconciliation.
- Prepare and execute payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire payments.
- Maintain and update vendor records, including W-9 forms and contact information.
- Assist in month-end closing processes, including AP reconciliations and accruals.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.
- Support the accounting team in improving AP processes and systems.
Job Requirements
- Strong experience in Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compliance
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass drug screening and TSA background screening.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.

Compensation
Competitive hourly wage with paid overtime.
